Sarah Connors has worked in the movie industry co-producing and post producing for such innovative directors as Noah Baumbach, Michael Cuesta, Kasi Lemmons, Ira Sachs, Barry Levinson, David Mamet, Robert Altman, Susan Seidelman, John Sayles. Currently, her production banner She Spun Films is dedicated to making extraordinary films produced, written and/or directed by women. She is in development on three TV Series, one Documentary, and one Independent Feature Film The Runaway, directed by Olivia Silver (Arcadia starring John Hawkes). Connors earned her M.F.A. from NYU Graduate Film School, and received her B.A. in English Literature at Washington University in St. Louis. She works/resides in lower Manhattan.

Monika Skerbelis the co-author of The Complete Filmmaker’s Guide to Film Festivals: Your all Access Pass to Launching Your Film on the Festival Circuit and I Liked It, Didn’t Love It: Screenplay Development from the Inside Out. She is the programming director for The American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the Cannes Film Festival. Previously she was a VP of creative, and executive story editor at Universal Pictures for 10 years overseeing the story department. Prior to Universal, she was story editor for 20th Century Fox and began her career in the story department at Paramount Pictures.


Alex Mendez Giner works defy the boundaries of storytelling, exploring complex characters at the intersection of subjective experience, reality and the marvelous real. He has screened in major international film festivals and received the Audience Choice Award from the Shanghai International Film Festival. He is founder artist of the Multimedia Center for the Arts at the Contemporary Art Museum of Caracas and has been guest speaker at multiple national and international academic venues. He currently teaches at Syracuse University Film Program.

Jennida Chase is a multi-media artist who primarily works with film, video, animation, sound and photography. In 1998 she received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2009 she completed her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Photography and Film. Themes within her work deal with relational interaction played out in society at large. Her work has been extensively shown in galleries, museums, art fairs and film/video festivals in North America, Europe and Asia; such as the Burning Man Festival, The Hong Kong International Art Fair, Pekin Fine Art, The Freies Museum Berlin, The Taubman Museum, and the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. Jennida currently resides in Illinois and teaches filmmaking in Southern Illinois University’s Department of Cinema & Photography.  Jennida currently teaches at the University of North Carolina Greensboro in the Media Studies Department. 





Hassan Pitts is an interdisciplinary artist interested in fashioning images around absorption, sensation, emotion, movement and gesture.  Currently he splits his time examining issues of masculine gestures of the everyday and themes of transience, both emotional and physical.  Hassan received a BFA in photography from Kutztown University, a BA in German studies from Dennison University and has most recently completed his MFA at Virginia Commonwealth University in photography and film.  Hassan has shown regionally throughout the Mid-Atlantic and in Miami, Fl.  Virginia is where he currently resides and produces work. Hassan currently teaches at the University of North Carolina Greensboro in the Media Studies Department.
